I’m a little behind on my blogging so I thought I would post just a sampling of all my fabulous clients to come.  Keep checking the blog for more updates and posts with photos of all these beautiful people!

Ryan & Mackenzie.  Love them.  We first sat down at Panera while they were in the beginning stages of planning their September 2012 wedding.  I like them immediately and enjoyed hearing their sweet sweet love story.  Her a waitress at Pub II while attending ISU, he visiting his brother looking forward to the many girls he might get to meet.  But on the first night there…. the first girl he met…. he fell for.  And they’ve been together ever since.

Downtown Normal there is a newly painted mural on the side of one of the shops.  mmmmm… love it.

And since Ryan & Mackenzie’s love story began at the famous Pub II…. snagging some shots around there was a must.

Finally, we headed out to the country to get some fun and romantic shots of the two of them.  Mackenzie told me previous to the session how much she loved the sunset and wanted to get some of the colors.  These ended up being some of my favorite from the day.  The sun was just setting and the colors were perfect…. the light was gorgeous… and the two of them looked amazing together.

The running joke throughout the session was how much Ryan liked to show off his (ehh hem) chest hair.  Trying to politely avoid too many dark and curly locks in the photos – we finally just let loose and they had a little fun with it.  I love the sequence below….

The one below is one of my favorites from the day.  I think I love every last thing about it.

Oh Mackenzie and Ryan… you guys were a blast to hang out with.  I  enjoyed laughing with you both and am definitely looking forward to your big day 🙂

I had the privilege of photographing another fellow photographer this fall, Laura Meador and her husband Tim!  I met Laura several months ago and she and I have worked together for a few different weddings now and I have really enjoyed getting to know her and during this shoot, her husband as well!  She does a great job and her fabulous work can be found at www.theartphotographic.com.

When Laura originally asked if I would take some updated pictures of her and her husband Tim, I was honored!  They have been married 7 years and she mentioned how she’d love some romantic images of the two of them for her home.  My PLEASURE!  I love romance… and these two definitely still had a lot of romance in their marriage.  So cute.  So here are some of my fave’s!

Laura took me out to a Forrest Preserve she and her hubby hike at.  I LOVE new spots so this might easily become one of my favorites.

Laura also asked if I would take some pictures of her and her camera… YES!  Tim also bust out his because he works alongside her as well!

On our way back into town, we did a little “drive by shooting” at these incredible road and barns out in the country.

Ooooh I loved this spot below.  This light just made me giddy….

Tim & Laura… I sooo enjoyed getting to spend even more time with you!  I respect you and your husband and hope you love your images!

Brian and Jessica contacted me well over a year ago about shooting their wedding.  Jessica had lots of questions and after meeting with both of them she decided that I would be a good fit for their wedding day!  Shortly afterwards we planned our engagement session to which I absolutely loved (and they did too… view those here!).  Anyways, I knew with Jessica’s attention to detail, her wedding was going to be fabulous.  She and Brian married at the Mackinaw Valley Vineyard – a beautiful venue, one I was super excited to photograph at.  With rain in the forecast we were a little nervous, but it turned out to be a beautiful day.  9.10.11.

Jessica looked STUNNING.  Not even kidding…. she looked breathtaking.  Everything from her dress to her hair to her veil and shoes…. beautiful.

And the below.  One of my favorites from the day and actually one of the first pictures I took of the two of them together.  I love how natural they both are…. just enjoying each other.

A little snack in between photos!

And then there was this pond… oh my how I fell in love with the scummy, grimy pond.  It just looked fabulous.  And I love the one below of Jessica looking back.

The reflection of the bridal party made this possibly one of my favorite bridal party pictures ever.  I love how it looks like a watercolor painting….

Could they get any cuter?  I think not.

Right before the reception they headed back in the Bug Limo Jessica had rented.  So cool.  She loves her green bug so they just had to go with the stretch.

Thanks to my second photographer, Laura Meador, for snagging some of the detail shots below!

MORE… yes MORE from this beautiful couple to come.  A beautiful “week after” session got us even more stunning photographs of these two lovebirds.

Courtney & Drew met in high school and are planning an April wedding of 2012.  Drew is in the military and they’ve been anxiously awaiting his orders so they could finalize the date and get started with the planning.  We headed downtown to start our session off!

Loved Courtney’s ring….

I had to work a little harder to help Drew and Courtney loosen up.  But by the end…. tah dah!  They were pros and even Drew seemed to be having a good time 😉

Drew and Courtney… it was so great getting to know you both… what a sweet couple you are!  Good luck with all the wedding plans – and I wish you all the best for your April wedding!
