I am so excited to shoot Matt & Danielle’s wedding this coming September.  When they decided they wanted to do engagement pictures, I was thrilled!  Not only is it so helpful to be able to meet and interact with the couple, but it also just gives me a feel for the personalities of the two and how they interact with each other.  They were awesome… while we chose one of the warmest days of the week (which isn’t saying much for March in Bloomington), we also chose one of the windiest days during the week as well.  The two were troopers and so patient as we had to constantly wait for the wind to die down before we snapped a few shots.  Thank you Danielle & Matt!!  I can’t wait to photograph you in September!

Micky and MC had their ceremony just outside of St Louis, bringing their reception right to the heart of downtown.  Projected forecast for the day:  80% chance of rain.   Actual forecast for the day: 0% rain.  Amazing eh?  And while it was a little cold and very cloudy, it made for some wonderful pictures!!  Thank you MC and Micky for being so willing to suffer through the cold with me!

Bryan & Samantha, miles apart, both read the same book in high school “When God writes your loves story”  They both individually decided then and there they were going to do just that.  Years later after waiting for the one they believed God was going to bring to them, they met each other and it was clear that this was the person each was waiting for.  After only a few months of dating and a only a few more of engagement, the two were married.  The coolest part about this story is that each had fully saved every part of themselves for their future spouse, including their very first kiss.

WOOOO HOOOOOO!!! Get it girl!! 🙂

I don’t think I’ve ever photographed a baby who smiled more than this little guy Peyton.  He literally looked right at my lens and smiled the entire session… I was in love.  The only time he fussed a little is captured in one of the photos you’ll be able to recognize… though it lasted only about 30 seconds.  So good to meet you Kelly, Kevin and Peyton!
