Lauren & Mark | San Diego Wedding Photography

Like I said in my teaser earlier, Lauren might be one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever gotten the privilege to work with.  Mark was immediately captivated by Lauren’s stunning blue eyes… and the rest, well, is history.  They started out their day at a cute little home down the street from where they were getting married in San Diego.  I was 32 weeks pregnant, so I brought along my fabulous second shooter, Kellie, from Little Blue Bow Tie Photography, and a friend who was an extra set of hands and a huge help throughout the day!  Enjoy some of my favorites from Lauren & Mark’s day!

It was such a beautiful moment when Lauren’s dad saw her for the first time…. Neely_Blog-17

Mark wanted to see Lauren for the first time when she walked down the aisle, however they did want to pray together before all the hustle and bustle began.  We rounded up a tie from a fellow groomsmen and they spent a couple minutes together before they said their vows.

Lauren’s makeup and hair was exceptional!  Her and all her bridesmaids had Alice von Simson out of My Secret Salon in Carlsbad as their one stop shop for it all.  You can check out her website at mysecretsalon.com.  Neely_Blog-33

Lauren’s personality was contagious and her genuine smile and laugh came out so clearly in these next couple images.  Some of my favorites!

They snuck off right away to enjoy a few minutes alone as husband and wife.  Neely_Blog-59Neely_Blog-60Neely_Blog-61

Mark & Lauren’s reception was hosted at the Coronado Community Center.  The schedule unfortunately didn’t allow for us to hit up the beach or some of the other hot spots in Coronado, however, who needs that when you have a park right next door and some AMAZING sunset light to photograph in.  And of course a good looking bridal party as well.Neely_Blog-63NeelyNeely_Blog-67Neely_Blog-68Neely_Blog-72

This next one ranks up as one of my favorites as well.  Love. Them. Neely_Blog-73Neely_Blog-75

This next two side-by-side were taken my amazing second shooter, Kellie, from Little Blue Bow Photography.  She does amazing work and I was so thankful she came along to help with some backup shooting!  (I’m kind of in love with the photo on the left).

These next three as well were taken by my fabulous second shooter, Kellie!  In order to get everyone on the dance floor, the DJ had the entire room surround Mark & Lauren and move in for a giant hug.  They weren’t sure what was going on, so their reactions were priceless!
